“Leaders Preparation” Program Kicks off in Preparation for the Student Elections.. Dr. Al-Malki: The University of Bahrain is Distinguished with Student Cadres Qualified to Lead the Institutions of Society in the Future

The Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Bahrain, Dr. Fatima Mohammad Al-Malki, stated, “The University is distinguished with creative students having leadership skills and qualities that qualify them to lead community institutions in the future, through assuming the leading positions, to contribute to the nation’s renaissance and achievements.” She pointed out that the university is a major source of competent leaders in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Dr. Al-Malki made this statement at the inauguration of the “Leaders Preparation” program, which was launched on Tuesday November 2, 2021, with the aim of shedding light on the leaders of the university students, preparing and qualifying them, providing them with leadership and creative skills and developing their administrative and technical skills, in order to prepare them to assume leadership positions in the future.

The program focuses on three aspects; the administrative and leadership aspect, the artistic and technical aspect, and the psychological and social aspect. The administrative and leadership aspect provides courses focusing on the administrative and leadership aspect, such as planning, decision-making and time management. The artistic and technical aspect focuses on issues related to skills and abilities of individuals, such as computer courses and others. The psychological and social aspect focuses on the personal qualities and characteristics of individuals, relationships and interaction with others.

Establishment and Rehabilitation Phase

Workshops, courses and lectures will be held in the first phase, “Establishment and Rehabilitation” via cyberspace through the electronic platform Microsoft Teams, while the second phase workshops “Training and Empowerment” will be held in presence in the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022 after life returns to normal, in preparation for student elections.
