Minister of Education Sponsors the Conference of Excellence in Higher Education Next month

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr Riyadh Yousef Hamzah, announced that the University of Bahrain, will take all necessary arrangements to ensure the success of the largest higher education conference in the Kingdom of Bahrain. “Excellence in higher education” under the Patronage of the Minister of education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Bahrain Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi.

The President of the University of Bahrain added that the conference is the largest gathering of University Presidents and higher education leaders in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa through the 8th Annual Middle East and Africa. The conference “Enhancing University Excellence in all its forms” is organised by the body responsible for the international ranking of universities QS, from 4-6 March 2018.

Prof. Hamzah expressed his pride that University of Bahrain are hosting this global conference as a key partner. “This kind of international conference promotes Bahrain higher education sector to the rest of the world”, confirming that the University of Bahrain is the “strategic partner” for this conference, which would allow Universities from around the globe to share best practice and research proposals.

The President of University of Bahrain confirmed that this conference is the first and the largest of its, kind of history of higher education in kingdom of Bahrain. It includes representatives from over 70 university in more than 40 countries from the Middle East and number of Asian, European and African countries, which will give the local economy a boost in terms of hotels and hospitality.
