Nursing Professors and Students at the University of Bahrain Review Health Care Developments at “Manama Health Conference”

Professors and students of the nursing programs, College of Health and Sport Sciences, University of Bahrain reviewed the latest evidence-based practice nursing, under the theme “Evidence-Based Nursing Care”, during their participation in the “Manama Health Conference”, held under the auspices of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, His Excellency lieutenant General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Al Khalifa, on 10-13 December 2022.

 

The Nursing Department platform contained evidence in the specialties of surgical internal nursing, critical care, and midwifery nursing based on the latest technologies. Professors of mental health nursing presented the latest methods for dealing with psychological stress, and how to create a healthy work environment for health workers.

 

Dr. Lina Mohammed Khonji, Dean of the College of Health and Sport Sciences, stated, “The participation of the College of Health and Sport Sciences in the conference reflects the University of Bahrain’s keenness to participate in international conferences and forums, and to highlight modern teaching methodologies, research, and studies in the nursing fields in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The college seeks to develop education and learning outcomes in the health field through collaborating with partners to support the health sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain with the aim of improving health services.

 

The 1st edition of the conference was organized by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), in partnership with the Ministry of Health of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
