On Campus and Following All Precautionary Measures, the University of Bahrain Will Celebrate the National Day on Tuesday and Wednesday

The University of Bahrain is preparing a program to celebrate the kingdom’s National Days, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state, founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne. The celebrations shall bear the name: “The True Essence of the People of Bahrain”, and shall be held under the patronage of the President of the University, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al Mudhakhi, on Tuesday and Wednesday December 14 -15, 2021.
The Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Bahrain, Dr. Fatima Muhammad Al-Malki, declared that the celebrations will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 pm. She explained that the university will allow attending celebrations on campus this year, stressing that all precautionary measures and recommendations of the National Medical Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will be strictly adhered to.
Dr. Al-Maliki stressed the importance of showing the university card while entering the university, noting that entry will be through the eastern and the western gates.
The celebration organizing committee adopted the general heritage feature of the celebrations and mixing it with contemporary features. There will be many events, including a heritage exhibition of the most important ancient crafts and jobs, some popular foods in the Kingdom of Bahrain, a student fine arts exhibition, an exhibition entitled “Bahraini Creativity”, in addition to an exhibition of cars decorated by male and female students, out of which the jury will choose the award of the best car.
The celebrations will also include student participation. University students will present their artistic inspirations in the fields of drawing, calligraphy, playing musical instruments and singing, and dramatic scenes. Students will
Also display their distinctive projects in the “Bahraini Inspirations” exhibition. In addition, there will be a competition under the name “The Most Beautiful Poem in Love of the Homeland” in classical and Nabati poetry, and a poetic musical evening on Wednesday, including poetic and lyrical inspirations in love of the homeland.
