On the Occasion of Two Students at UoB Winning an Asian and Local Championships.. Dr. Al-Mudhahki: We Are Keen to Enhance an Environment That Stimulates Youth Capabilities in All Fields

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, affirmed that the University is keen to create an educational system that motivates students to unleash their abilities and believes in their capabilities, to compete in various fields and at the highest levels.
This came during her reception of the University’s students, Abdullah Al-Balooshi, who recently won third place in the Asian Paralympic Indoor Rowing Championships, and the student, Maiouf Abdulaziz Al-Rumaihi, the recent winner of the Grand Competition of the Royal Federation of Equestrian and Endurance Show Jumping Championships.
Dr. Al-Mudhahki expressed her confidence that the young men and women of the Kingdom of Bahrain have the skills and capabilities to compete seriously in various fields, pointing to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to this vital sector, especially by naming this year the “Year of Bahraini Youth”, given their importance and centrality in the national work, as well as the unlimited support that the youth receive from His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in all youth fields, especially in the sports field, and she called on them to have confidence in themselves, provide knowledge, acquire skills, and participate in events and initiatives organized by government and private institutions in this regard.
Also, the President of the University congratulated the students, Al-Balooshi and Al-Rumaihi, for winning the two championships, stressing that this victory is due to a strong will, continuous preparations, and long efforts that deserve all appreciation and praise.
On their part, the two students expressed their gratitude to the President of the University for her interest in the students’ achievements, and for her continuous support and encouragement for them to move forward in self-development, whether in the academic aspect or extra-curricular activities, and indicated that they are determined to achieve further accomplishments that shall raise the flag of the Kingdom in various forums.
