President of UOB receives a copy of the book “Sociology of Global Citizenship”

Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, received a copy of the book “The Sociology of Global Citizenship”, by Dr. Ahlam Rashid Al Qasimi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Bahrain, during Dr Al Ansari’s meeting with Dr. Al Qasimi in his office in Sakhir.

The book “The Sociology of Global Citizenship” examines citizenship from a sociological perspective, social problems and citizenship values, and sheds light on the subject of citizenship as an important issue in sociology, as it can establish a new society and new membership for individuals and unite them in a common identity with a set of values and specifications similar to the title “national identity”. The book also included an appendix to the national plan to enhance national belonging and consolidate the values of citizenship in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
