President of UoB Receives Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AMudhaki, received the Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Miyamoto Masayuki, at the university premises in Sakhir on Wednesday 23 February 2022.

 

Dr. AMudhaki welcomed the Japanese ambassador, and commended the efforts made by the Japanese embassy in strengthening scientific, research and academic relations between UoB and Japanese universities and advanced research centers, noting the progress and continuous growth witnessed by this cooperation in various fields.

 

The president of UoB stressed the importance of promoting cultural and scientific cooperation, and strengthening ties between Japanese universities and the University of Bahrain, through the exchange of academics and students. The two parties discussed areas of common interest.

 

For his part, Ambassador Masayuki affirmed the keenness of the Japanese Embassy to strengthen scientific, academic and cultural relations between the two parties, and expressed his pride in the developed partnerships between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan at all levels, wishing the University of Bahrain further growth and prosperity.

 

The meeting addressed various developments in the educational systems and institutions in the two countries and ways of enhancing mutual interests and development partnerships.
