President of UoB: The Speech of His Majesty the King is a Syllabus for the Bahraini Youth

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al Mudhahki, valued the lofty speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, which he addressed on the Bahraini Youth Day, which falls on the twenty-fifth of March of each year, describing what was stated in His Majesty’s speech as a national syllabus, which leads young people to be proud of their patriotism and raise their giving.
The President of UoB stated that His Majesty the King’s urging for Bahraini youth to preserve and enhance national gains and adopt the approach of tolerance and openness, are the keys to the youthful personality that the nation aspires to, through which Bahraini values that are deeply rooted in history since ancient times, as the Bahraini person was known for his good virtues, coexistence and tolerance, and this is why Bahrainis are welcomed and respected in all forum.
Furthermore, she commended the pivotal role played by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, in setting the best example for Bahraini youth as a role model in determination, willpower, making effort and giving, and to not be late in responding to the nation’s call at any field.
Dr. Al-Mudhahki added that UoB, through its academic role and extra-curricular activities, is working to strengthen and implement what was mentioned in the honorable speech, and that it is in the process of completing a comprehensive program that aims to support the personality of young men and women from the University’s students, numbering about 32,000, in addition to refining their personalities, motivating them to be creative in various fields, and providing them with all kinds of support and care. Also, she confirmed that the “Year of Bahraini Youth” will be a special year at UoB, with a wide range of quality student activities that shall leave the best and deepest impact on their personalities.
