During His Participation in the Preparatory Forum for the Resilience and Sustainability Conference
The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Prof. Riyad Yousif Hamzah, affirmed that the shift from traditional methods to modern sustainable solutions in construction is no longer an aspiration for the future, but rather a necessity for the renaissance development process in our countries.
This came during his participation in the preparatory forum for the Second International Resilience and Sustainability Conference, which was inaugurated yesterday by the Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf.
The Forum will be held by the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning over two days, in cooperation with UoB and Itqan Development Company, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Bahrain.
Prof. Hamzah advised the University to adopt new technologies and solutions through the qualitative education it provides, which takes into account all these technologies and solutions, truly adopts them, and integrates them into academic and training plans and programs on an ongoing basis./div>
