In a Virtual Seminar Attended by More Than 60 Specialists 

Professors and Students of “Physical Therapy” At UoB Present the Differential Diagnosis 

The Department of Physiotherapy at the College of Health and Sports Sciences (CHSS) at the University of Bahrain (UoB) held a public seminar on the electronic communication platform Microsoft (Teams) entitled “On Differential Diagnosis in Physiotherapy.”, which was attended by more than 60 physiotherapists from various specialties and experiences, in addition to students from UoB. 

Speakers at the seminar included the Assistant Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Physiotherapy, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy, Dr. Yousif Sayed Sharaf Al-Khabbaz, in addition to students of Master in the Physiotherapy Program. 

Furthermore, Dr. Abdullah explained the secrets of the hip joint, and medical conditions that can affect this area, in the light of his experience and specialization in this field given his doctoral thesis research. Also, Dr. Sharaf discussed the most important strategies to return to physical activity based on the latest scientific findings in this field. 

The master’s students presented their exceptional experiences during their clinical work based on the applications they learned during their studies in the program, as the students talked about the description of the cases, medical history, the tests they performed, and the method used in the differential diagnosis, to reach the final diagnosis, in addition to reviewing treatment plans for such cases.
