The Dean of Admission and Registration at the University of Bahrain, Dr. Amal Zayed Al-Zayed, called on high school graduates wishing to join UoB to confirm admission, so as not to miss the opportunity to enroll in the University, noting that Sunday, August 21, is the deadline to confirm admission.

Dr. Al-Zayed said the Deanship of Admission and Registration will determine the available vacancies after the end of admission confirmation period, in preparation for allowing students to change their desires in academic programs according to the available seat capacity.

Dr. Al-Zayed stated, “Failure to confirm admission by some students means that they are no longer interested in joining UoB, so the Deanship of Admission and Registration will avail their seats to other students, whether those on the waiting list or those wishing to change their majors.”

On last Monday, the President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, approved the results of admission of students applying to join the university in the academic year (2022-2023) who have fulfilled the admission requirements, stressing that UoB continues to provide seats for high school graduates with GPA of 70% or more.

According to the Deanship of Admission and Registration, the number of high school graduates who applied to join UoB is more than 10,200 applicants.

The Deanship of Admission and Registration called on applicants to read the bylaws and regulations of the University of Bahrain, approve them, and confirm admission through paying fees during the period extending from Tuesday, August 16, 2022, to Sunday, August 21, 2022, noting that after this period it will announce the start of changing choices of students who have confirmed their admission and wish to transfer to another academic program. The process of examining and approving applications will be conducted according to admission requirements, in the event that there are vacancies in these majors.
