The Committee of the Deans of Colleges of Administrative Sciences in GCC Countries Lauds PhD in Business Analytics at UoB

The Dean of the College of Business Administration at UoB, Dr. Hatem Mahmoud Al-Masry, participated in the ninth forum of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Administrative Sciences in Universities of the Gulf Cooperation Council, held virtually on Monday February 22, 2022, under the slogan (Partnership for Prosperity), in the presence of the Director of Education Department of the General Secretariat, Dr. Mohammad Al-Mahri, and more than 20 deans.
The ninth forum recommended the establishment of (Arab Business Review), like Harvard Business Review, at the University of Bahrain, as a magazine specialized in publishing short articles and case studies, as well as specifying the names of specialists in editorial committees.
In addition, the forum recommended considering the PhD program in Business Analytics at UoB as a model experience and requested a presentation thereof at the tenth forum, which will be held at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in February 2023.
The forum also recommended enhancing the role of the colleges of administrative sciences in achieving a governance structure in the financial and business sector and introducing quality programs in business administration colleges that fulfill the aspirations of communities in GCC countries.
The forum discussed the strategies required to create leaders capable of achieving the goals set in the strategies of Gulf universities, regarding curricula, teaching strategies, issues of academic accreditation, university rankings, and others.
