The Governor of the Eastern Province Receives Participants in the Conference of the Association of Arab Universities and Calls for More Cooperation and Integration

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received in his office on Tuesday November 16, 2021 the President of the Executive Council of the Association of Arab Universities in its 53rd Conference, Dr. Issa bin Hassan Al-Ansari, members of the Executive Council of the Association, and heads and representatives of Arab universities from 22 countries, on the occasion of the hosting of Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University of the 1st meeting of the Executive Council of the Association of Arab Universities, which lasted for three days.
His Highness lauded the efforts exerted by the Association for the sake of coordination, improving the performance of Arab universities and integration between them, for the benefit of students in various Arab countries. His Highness also commended the services provided by Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University to the sons and daughters of the region, and its achievements at all levels and stressed that academically and professionally qualified human cadres are the basis of modern development, and that university institutions play a major role in achieving the goals and providing outputs that serve the country, and the directives of the rational government.
Following the meeting, the President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, stated that she and her fellow directors and presidents of Arab universities participating in the meeting were honored to meet His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz who expressed his full support for the Association of Arab Universities. She lauded the great attention the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, pay to education in general, and higher education in particular, being the main factor for the renaissance and progress of nations.
