The President of UoB Receives the Ethiopian Consul General in the Kingdom

On Tuesday (21 December 2021), the President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, received Ambassador Jemal Beker Abdullah, Consul General of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, appointed to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the University Campus in Sakhir.
During the meeting, the President of UoB reviewed the contributions of UoB in all fields, in addition to the University’s programs at all academic levels, and its future directions in serving the comprehensive development of the Kingdom of Bahrain by preparing national cadres capable of keeping pace with the times with a set of basic skills that the University is keen to provide it to students.
For his part, the Consul General congratulated the University President for the royal confidence in her appointment as president of the University and congratulated her on the national celebrations of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Also, he briefed the University President in general of the most prominent universities in his country, aspects of the development taking place in them, and their aspirations for progress in various scientific and academic fields and strengthening the existing bridges of cooperation between his country and its surroundings to benefit from the best academic practices in a number of countries.
