The University Of Bahrain and the Royal University for Women Discuss Aspects of Collaboration and Integration

On Tuesday February 15, 2022, the President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AlMudhahki, discussed with the President of the Royal University for Women, Prof. Yousra Mouzughi, aspects of cooperation and coordination between the two universities in areas of scientific research and joint scientific projects.

During the meeting, the two parties stressed the importance of strengthening the existing collaboration between the national educational and training institutions, in a way that would contribute to improving the quality of education, developing students’ performance and achieving sustainable development goals in the educational sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in line with the government’s work program and Economic Vision 2030.

The two parties discussed issues of common interest with regard to empowering women through training programs, job opportunities, exchange of experiences, scientific research as well as quality assurance and academic accreditation programs.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Dheya Saqr Al-Jalahma, advisor to the president of the University of Bahrain for Academic Affairs, Dr. Luisla Paolo, Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Center, Maryam Abu Al-FatEh, lecturer at the College of Applied Education as representatives of UoB, and Parsa Zoqaqi Assistant to the President for Quality Assurance & Institutional Effectiveness, and Mona Abdul Jawad, Manager of the Quality Assurance and Accrediation Unit as representatives of the RUW.
