The University of Bahrain Hosts the Middle East Conference of Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

The College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain has completed its preparations for holding the Middle East Conference of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The conference will be held at the premises of the University of Bahrain in Sakhir on Wednesday and Thursday (2-3 March 2022), in the presence of (AACSB) accreditors, coordinators, experts as well as several participants, while adhering to all health and safety measures.
The conference provides a future vision on the trends of business administration education in the Middle East, in an environment of strategic thinking, while focusing on high-quality education, through the accreditation approach of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. It also provides an opportunity to communicate with thought leaders, collaborate and build relationships with peers in the region.
Several sessions will be held on the first day of the conference, namely “Quality Assurance for Universities and Business Schools” by the President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AlMudhahki, “Supporting and Strengthening Research in the Middle East and North Africa”, “Risk Assessment, Preparation and Management”, “Best Practices and Lessons Learned from Peer Review Visits”, “Standard 9: Best Measurement Practices and Highlighting Achievements”, and “Scholarship Impact: Time to Consider Societal Impact”.
The agenda of the second day includes “Additional Session: Accreditation Q&A”, “Industry: Coursera for Campus”, “From Strategic Planning to Effective Results”, “Building an Entrepreneurial University: The Experience of Tel Aviv University”, and “The Regional Forum for Diversity and Inclusion in the Middle East”.
In addition to the College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain, the conference sponsors and shareholders include College of Business Administration at Ajman University, College of Business at Al Ain University, College of Business Administration at the American University in the Emirates, College of Business Administration at the American University in Dubai, Graduate Management Admission Council, College of Business Administration at Gulf University for Science and Technology, and Dubai Business School at University of Dubai.
