The University of Bahrain Organizes its Ramadan Ghabga in the Presence of many Academians and Administrators

The Department of Information and University Relations at the University of Bahrain organized a Ramadan Ghabga for its affiliates at the University premises in Sakhir, in the presence of President of the University, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen AlMudhaki, and members of the academic and administrative bodies.

Dr. AlMudhaki welcomed university employees and expressed her great pleasure to meet them in a social event in the Holy Month of Ramadan, after nearly two years of suspension of such joyful gatherings due to the exceptional circumstances imposed by the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. She stated, “Thanks to God Almighty, and the royal directives related to protection of citizens and residents by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him, and the tireless efforts of Bahrain Taskforce led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, may God protect him, in confronting the Coronavirus and limiting its spread, we could return to normal life.”

Dr. AlMudhaki thanked the team of the Department of Information and University Relations for organizing this event. She also thanked the other supporting departments, and all the attendees.

The occasion included a cultural competition presented by Mahmoud Ali Al-Hayiki, Head of the Division of Activities and Events, Department of Information and University Relations, in an enthusiastic atmosphere, amidst patriotic and popular songs by Shabab Al Hidd Band.

The Ghabga was attended by the vice presidents, deans, and many university affiliates, including academians and administrators.
