The University of Bahrain receives endowment from Bahrain Cinema for research

The University of Bahrain received an endowment from the Bahrain Cinema Company to develop educational, scientific research, innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship projects at the University.

The President of the University, Dr Riyad Hamza, received the support of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Essam Fakhro, the Head of Administration at the company; Karima Farhad handed over on his behalf.

The university president thanked the Bahrain Cinema Company for its support in supporting scientific research, stressing the role played by the private sector in supporting higher education in Bahrain. “This financial support will create platform for exchange and cooperation, the University of Bahrain fully supports the sector because of its vitality and potential.” Farhad said, “There is no doubt that the research and academic expertise of the University of Bahrain is able to support our sector and we are delighted and proud to contribute to the advancement of research at the National University”.
