University of Bahrain Announces Undergraduate Application
Dates and Deadlines for the Coming Academic Year 2019 -2020
The Deanship of Admission and Registration at the University of Bahrain has announced that application dates for the Undergraduate Programs (Bachelor’s Degrees and Associate Diploma Programs), for the First Semester of the academic year 2019-2020, shall be on Monday, 10 June 2019, until Wednesday, 19 June 2018.
Students shall apply using one of the following two methods:
1. Electronic System: this system is open to private and public high school students of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
2. Personal Attendance System: this system is open to high school students from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Application process shall be as follows:
First: Students who are expected to graduate from private or public high schools in Bahrain at the end of this academic year (2018-2019), as well as students who hold a General Secondary School Certificate for the academic years (2017 and 2018), shall apply online to undergraduate programs offered by the University of Bahrain, on the eGovernment National Portal: bahrain.bh
Second: High school students from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain are required to be present in person at the Deanship of Admission and Registration, during the period stated above, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The following certified documents shall be provided
a. High school students expected to graduate at the end of the current academic year (2018-2019) are required to submit official certified copies of transcripts for the last five semesters of secondary school or official certified transcripts for the last two years of secondary school.
b. High school students who graduated in the years 2017 or 2018 are required to submit a certified copy of final high school certificate and official copies of transcripts for the last three years, stating their high school graduation grade.
c. Copy of a valid passport.
d. Copy of a valid Smart Card.
e. Four photos printed in color.
f. Non-refundable application fee of 10 Bahraini Dinars.
NB:
– For admission requirements (a minimum grade of 70% in the General Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent), please visit the University website at www.uob.edu.bh
– Graduation certificate, grade of the current academic semester (2018-2019), and copies of a valid passport and Smart Card along with the original ones shall be submitted on the day of the interview. Interviews will be conducted during the period from 23 to 27 June 2019 and Aptitude Tests during the period from 30 June to 4 July 2019. Each student will receive an appointment confirmation via text message.
