University of Bahrain President Meets Some Scholarship Students with Postgraduate Degrees

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al Mudhahka, stressed that the University supports students on scholarship to complete their higher studies, noting their active role in developing the scientific and practical movement at the University. Dr. Al- Mudhahka lauded the outstanding results the students achieved, which reflect their keenness to best represent the University and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The UoB President met with a number of academians on scholarships, who have recently obtained postgraduate degrees, on Monday October 24, 2022.
Dr. Al Mudhahka stated, “Since its establishment in 1986, the University of Bahrain has been sending distinguished young cadres to complete their higher studies to obtain master’s and PhD degrees in various scientific disciplines, to ensure the preparation and provision of faculty members specialized in the latest sciences and technologies, to promote academic teaching and scientific research, given that universities in any community are the beacons of science and knowledge and lead social change and development in all sectors.” Dr. Al Mudhahka stressed the University’s keenness to increase the number of students on scholarships in the latest disciplines, in line with the aspirations of the Kingdom of Bahrain in terms of specializations that meet the requirements of the Economic Vision 2030 and the government’s work program, to keep pace with the Fourth Industrial Revolution’s global trends.
For their part, the academians extended their thanks to University of Bahrain for giving them the opportunity to complete their postgraduate studies, which would enable them to transfer their scientific and practical experiences to the younger generations of students who are eager for science and knowledge.
The University President met several students on scholarship, including Dr. Mai Youssef Al-Sada and Dr. Hood Ali Al-Obaidli from the College of Arts (Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies), Dr. Rashid Abdul Rahman Yousef from the College of Engineering (Civil Engineering Department), Dr. Sarah Mohammad Al-Faihani and Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Abdullatif from the College of Business Administration (Department of Economics and Finance), Dr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman Janahi and Dr. Noura Abdullah Al Jalahma (Department of Accounting), Dr. Siham Abdullah Saleh from the College of Health and Sport Sciences (Department of Allied Health Sciences), and Dr. Suhaib Mohammed Ahmed from Bahrain Teachers College (English Language Department).
