University of Bahrain Receives “Best University” Award for Collaborating with INJAZ Bahrain for the Academic Year 2021-2022

The University of Bahrain received the “Best University” award for its numerous contributions and implementation of programs of INJAZ Bahrain, within the category of the universities of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This took place at a ceremony to honor partners and volunteers in UoB’s programs for the academic year 2021-2022.
The award was received by the Vice President for Information Technology Services, Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Osama Abdullah Al-Jowder, and Dr. Esraa Ahmed Wali, Chairperson of Bahrain INJAZ Committee at the university, during the ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Tuesday evening (October 18, 2022).
The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, congratulated the University’s affiliates on winning this award, stressing that the University constantly collaborates with INJAZ Bahrain Organization, and that all University colleges encourage their students to participate in the Organization’s programs, due to the benefits students get from these programs which provide students with many experiences and skills and prepare them for the labor market.
A number of faculty members at the University of Bahrain were honored in the ceremony for their active participation, namely Dr. Ghadeer Ismail Mohammad from the College of Information Technology in the Diamond Volunteer category, Dr. Asmaa Mohdhab Ayari and Dr. Nesreen Ashkanani from the College of Business Administration, Hessa Mohammed Al-Attawi from the English Language Center, Dr. Thuraya Juma Abdullah from the College of Science, Dr. Reem Abbas Sultan from the College of Engineering in the Platinum Volunteer category, and the Chairperson of Bahrain INJAZ Committee at the University from the College of Information Technology, Dr. Esraa Ahmed Wali in the Golden Volunteer category.
