University of Bahrain Shares Nursing Sector Developments at Regional Workshop in Kuwait

Dr. Leena Mohammad Khonji, Dean of the College of Health and Sports Sciences at the University of Bahrain and Director of the WHO Collaborating Center for Nursing Development, spoke at a workshop in Kuwait. She addressed leaders from health professions education institutions in the Eastern Mediterranean Region about Bahrain’s nursing education sector and its regional role in advancing the profession. The workshop, focused on governance and leadership for health professions education, was organized by the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean, in collaboration with the Kuwait Medical Association and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
