UOB Academics Discuss Effective Teaching Strategies

In a recent interactive workshop titled ‘Effective Teaching Strategies,’ faculty members at the University of Bahrain discussed the benefits of new teaching methods, focusing on the roles of both the teacher and the learner. They explored various teaching techniques that can be applied in the classroom, including practical demonstrations, educational storytelling, educational portfolio, learning through tasks and assignments, dyadic thinking, participation, reflection, and writing, among others.

The workshop aimed to enhance teachers’ cognitive and pedagogical skills by emphasizing the importance of diverse teaching strategies and the application of effective teaching tools.

The workshop, organized by the Unit of Excellence in Education and Leadership at the University of Bahrain, was led by Dr. Taha Rajab, Assistant Professor at the Bahrain Teachers, College, University of Bahrain.
