In the Period from 4-14th June 2017
The University of Bahrain Admission and Registration Deanship announced that it will be receiving applications for the University first academic programs (Bachelor and Associate Diploma) for the First Semester 2017/2018 as of Sunday June 4th, 2017 until Wednesday June 14th, 2017.
The Deanship noted that the process of applying shall be according to two accredited systems: the Electronic System which is allocated for private and public schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Personal Attendance System which is allocated for high school graduates from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Applications will be accepted from Bahraini private and public high school students who are expected to graduate this current semester (second 2016/2017), as well as from students of the General Secondary School Certificate for the academic years (2015 and 2016), by virtue of accessing the e-government website link:
bahrain.bh and following the instructions. The Deanship underscored the importance of reviewing majors and specialties availed by the UoB, on the University website:
www.uob.edu.bh, that are commensurate with high school streams by both the students and parents, in addition to submitting the graduation certificate and the results of the current semester (2016/2017) by the students who are expected to graduate this semester. A valid passport copy must be submitted on the day of the personal interview, which shall be announced later.
High school graduates from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain must personally come to the Admission and Graduates Affairs Department at the Registration Deanship during the said period as of 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., to submit their authenticated documents by the competent authorities.
The Deanship noted that the required documents (for students expected to graduate end of this semester from schools outside the Kingdom of Bahrain) are: the original transcripts of the past five secondary semesters, or the original transcripts of the last two secondary stages) provided the GPA is no less than 70%, in addition to a valid passport copy, four new personal colored photos, copy of a valid CPR, and a non-refundable application fee of BHD 10.000.
For graduates of the last two years, the required documents are: the General Secondary School Certificate and the original grades transcript in which the GPA is clearly indicated for the last three years (regular students), or the original transcripts for all semesters (regular students) with a GPA of no less than 70%), a valid passport copy, four new personal colored photos, copy of a valid CPR, and a non-refundable application fee of BHD 10.000.
