UoB Announces the Registration Period for Courses of Various Stages

The Dean of Admission and Registration at the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Amal Zayed Al-Zayed, stressed the importance of building student schedules according to study plans, calling on students to ensure that they obtain appropriate study quorums.
The registration, deletion and addition phase for the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023 for undergraduate programs (first and second periods) and postgraduate programs is scheduled to start next Thursday, 1 September 2022, and continue to the 14th of the same month.
Dr. Al-Zayed said the registration process will depend on the hours passed from the study plan, as is customary, so that priority will be given to students expected to graduate, then those who have passed higher hours, followed by the leaser, according to a timetable announced by the Deanship. Noting the courses for students of the preparatory program at its two levels, the first and second, and students who have passed the preparatory semester to the first semester in their academic programs in which they are accepted, will be registered.
According to the announced schedule, Thursday (September 1, 2022) was assigned for students expected to graduate from 16:00 to 23:59, while Sunday (September 4, 2022) was assigned to two categories in two periods; The first category is for students who have passed 70% to less than 83% of the credit hours, from 16:00 to 19:59, and the second category is for students who have passed from 55% to less than 70% in the period from 20:00 to 23 :59.
As for Monday (September 5, 2022), it was assigned to two categories: the first for students who passed from 45% to less than 55% of the credit hours, from 16:00 to 19:59, and the second is for students who have passed from 35% to less than 45% of the credit hours, in the period from 20:00 to 23:59.
While Tuesday (September 6, 2022) was assigned to two categories, the first for those who passed from 25% to less than 35% from 16:00 to 19:59, and the second for those who passed from 16% to less than 25% of the credit hours from 20 :00 to 23:59
Also, Wednesday (September 7, 2022) was assigned to two categories: students who passed from 8% to less than 16% of credit hours in the period from 16:00 to 19:59, and students who passed less than 8%, in the period from 20:00 to 23:59.
However, the days from Thursday (September 8, 2022) to Wednesday (September 14, 2022) were assigned for all students from 16:00 to 23:59.
The Deanship cautioned that the process of calculating the percentage of the credit hours passed is done by calculating the hours passed divided by the number of hours required for graduation, and the result is multiplied by 100.
