UOB College of Business Reviews Murabaha and Tawarruq Products

Students from the Islamic Banking Department at the University of Bahrain attended a seminar on the “practical applications of Murabaha and Tawarruq in banking”, presented by Ammar Al-Abbasi, Director of Sharia assurance and Sharia advisory for Islamic banking at Shariyah Review Bureau. During the seminar, Al-Abbasi discussed various aspects of these two products, explaining how they are applied in the context of Sharia banking.

The seminar was moderated by Esam Al-Bastaki, a faculty member in the Department of Islamic Banking at the College of Business Administration.
