Sakhir – University of Bahrain
The University of Bahrain (UoB) has started distributing the last batch of laptops it received from the “Feena Khair” campaign to students with low income, as part of its efforts to facilitate final exams for the second semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, on Thursday (May 26, 2022).
The Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Maliki, said that the University seeks to serve the students, provide the appropriate and proper atmosphere for them during the final exams period, facilitate their submission of exams and passing them, and create conditions that enable them to study and finish their exams with ease.
Also, she added that the Deanship of Student Affairs had contacted students with low incomes who met the criteria for entitlement to obtain laptops for the last batch of the “Feena Khair” campaign, and arranged dates to receive the laptops, which were supervised by a team of the Deanship of Student Affairs staff in University headquarters in Sakhir.
Dr. Al-Maliki called all the University students to take care of their psychological and physical health by organizing study times, having good regular sleep, and having healthy nutrition, wishing them all the success, and expressing her thanks to the University Administration, represented by its president, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, for the unlimited support it provides to students through the activities and projects of the Deanship.
For their part, the students and their parents expressed their thanks and appreciation for this initiative, which reflects – as they put it – the extent of the UoB’s interest in the academic achievement of its students, and they expressed their satisfaction with the procedures through which the distribution of computers was carried out.
