UoB: General abilities tests next week

The Director of The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the University of Bahrain Dr Aqeel Adulrahman Janahi has recently announced that the General abilities tests for these willing to join the University for the academic year 2015/2016 will be from 1-5 July, 2015 at Sakhir campus. 

According to Dr. Janahi, the tests are to be taken over five days according to the dates will be announced soon. Noting that, the test measures the ability to understand, reasoning and mathematical analysis.

Dr Janahi calls the students to adhere to the given dates and places, stressing the importance of taking them as they are among the admission conditions. The test will represent 15% of the competitive rate that reliable in the distribution of students to different academic programs, while the personal interview represents 15%, and the rate of high school 70%.

In the same context, interviews continue for students who wish to attend university until tomorrow (Thursday), June 25, 2015.The 43 committee Academy – 563 faculty member at the university participate –to interview the applicants with the task of measuring the extent of student motivation, and abilities, and its ability to engage in university life.

The interview, which has been set as an admission standard by the Deanship of Registration and Admission at UoB alongside the secondary school certificate and the general abilities test, will be conducted verbally at Sakhir campus at Hall (18), IT Collage Lab S21-1002 and Gymnasium. The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center calls the applicants to visit the University’s website at www.uob.edu.bh for further information about the interviews dates and the procedures taken regarding that.
