UOB Mathematics Explores Data Science Applications & Career Opportunities

Students from the college of science, attended an introduction on “Data Science Applications and Job Opportunities.

The session led by Zahra Shuaib, Head of Procurement and Logistics Management at Babco Upstream, covered various methods, algorithms, and systems, showcasing real-world applications of data science. Additionally, Zahra discussed current job market trends and explored potential career paths in the field. It also included inspiring case studies and success stories, offering valuable perspectives on thriving in the data science industry. The workshop was attended by students from the department of mathematics and interested students from other colleges.
