UOB Organizes an Orientation
Day for High School Graduates

In line with the precautionary
measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain in light of the Corona pandemic
(Covid-19), the University of Bahrain (UOB) announced the organization of a
remote orientation day for high school graduates, on Wednesday and Thursday (1-2
July 2020), using the Microsoft Teams Live platform.

The orientation day aims to
introduce high school graduates to the majors and programs available at UOB and
what students need in each major, to familiarize them with the specializations
that they are about to choose at university.

The Department of Media and
University Relations has devoted the first day (Wednesday) to the presentations
of the programs of the theoretical education colleges, namely, the College of
Law, the College of Information Technology, the College of Business, and
Bahrain Teachers College, in addition to the presentation of the English
Language Center, and the presentation will start from ten to eleven thirty in
the morning.

The following day (Thursday) was
as well devoted the presentations of applied education colleges, namely, the
College of Arts, the College of Health and Sports Sciences, the College of
Engineering, the College of Science, then the College of Applied Education, in
addition to the presentation of the English Language Center.

It is worth noting that the
Department of Information and University Relations at UOB has for many years
arranged for meetings with students of the final year of high school to
introduce them to the University programs in general and colleges programs in
particular.
