UoB President Commends the Wise Leadership’s Sponsorship of School Students Before the Start of The Academic Year

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, praised the lofty directives issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Country, which were interpreted by the orders issued by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King and Crown Prince, to organize an introductory day for parents in all public schools, and for each student in public schools to receive a financial voucher worth 25 Bahraini dinars, to support students return to schools after two years of distance study.
As the University President said: “These lofty steps of His Majesty the King, and the order issued by the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, in this regard before the start of the school year, is a lofty gesture that is not unusual of our wise leadership, which prioritizes education at all levels since it is a change-maker”.
In addition, she added that communicating with parents on the matter of education and alleviating a major aspect of families’ burdens in school supplies is the best start for a new academic year that is about to begin, as it casts its shadow over a wide sector of Bahraini society, referring to UoB’s experience in establishing an “Induction Day” annually and the extent to which students and their parents benefit from it as it paves the way for students to begin the academic year with the utmost ease.
