UoB Student Service Center Achieves High Satisfaction Rates

More Than a Year After Its Inauguration

UoB Student Service Center Achieves High Satisfaction Rates

An opinion poll conducted by the Information Technology Center at the University of Bahrain (UoB) showed that 75% of students are “very satisfied” with the services offered by the “Student Service Center” through calls and responding to messages via WhatsApp and that 10% of them are “satisfied” with this service, which reflects a high satisfaction rate of up to 85%.

The survey indicated that 77% of students are “completely satisfied” with the WhatsApp chat service and that 11% are satisfied with the service provided by the University’s Information Technology Center for students.

UoB Student Service Center communicates with students, responds to their inquiries, conveys their complaints and suggestions, and assists them in all administrative and academic procedures and requirements through their phone number (16633366).

The Director of the Information Technology Center at the University, Wael Attia Abomesallam, expressed his happiness with the results of the survey, which reflects the distinguished efforts of the Student Service Center at the University, noting that the Information Technology Center supervised the Center during its establishment period, and it is keen to improve performance and provide best practices to facilitate students’ transactions and procedures.

For his part, the Head of the Information Networks Division at the University’s Information Technology Center, Suhaib Mohammad Al-Abdi – who is responsible for establishing and managing the Student Service Center – indicated that the Center provides its services through several means, the most important of which are voice calls, e-mail (studentcc@uob.edu.bh), webchat, WhatsApp chat, and chat boot.

Furthermore, Al-Abdi pointed out that the services of the Student Service Center – which was inaugurated more than a year ago – benefit all attending students and graduates of the University since the establishment of the National University about 35 years ago.

According to Al-Abdi, the survey had the participation of about 4230 male and female students, and it aimed to measure the satisfaction of the beneficiaries of the service a year after its launch in September 2019, and then develop the service in line with the requirements and changes in the current situation.

It is worth noting that the services of the Student Service Center are provided by the University to all students through a contract with Gulf CX, which is a pioneer in the field of organizing and providing communication services to clients.
