UoB Students take part in Willem C. Vis Pre-Moot
The University of Bahrain participated in the 8th Annual Willem C. Vis Middle East International Commercial Arbitration Pre-Moot. During this event, 120 students from fifteen higher education institutions in ten regional countries competed.
The mooting team of the University of Bahrain was praised by the event organizers and awarded certificates of appreciation. The team consisted of Mohamed Ali Ahmed, Fares Basil, Ihsan Fattah, and Ayman Sayed Haidar.
The College of Law faculty member who supervised the team, Dr. Manal Mohammed Al Sayed, pointed out that the University of Bahrain is very keen on equipping law degree graduates with modern legal practices, and matching their skills with labor market needs. She also added that such events give students the opportunity to further deepen the theoretical and the practical aspects of the judicial process.
