UTEL at the University of Bahrain hosts a faculty workshop on designing interactive e-tivities

The Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL) hosted an online practice-based workshop entitled “5 Stage Model & E-tivities Frameworks for Students Success” facilitated by Professor Gilly Salmon, the CEO of the UK-based Education Alchemists Ltd, and Mr. Ron Angood, the Principle Visioning Director.

The workshop, which was delivered on the 8th and the 10th September 2020, extolled on concepts of e-tivities and the 5-stage model to help faculty design viable e-tivities to aid their pedagogical practices.

According to Dr. Diana Aljahromi, the UTEL Director, the workshop was attended by more than 60 participants and coordinated by Dr. Sana Almansoori. Participants highly valued the outcomes of the workshop and expressed a 100% implementation intent of the knowledge transferred during the current academic year.
